The Tasmanian Government is creating a team of people called a “Commission” to stand up for the rights and wellbeing of all children and young people to make sure they have a good life.
We want to hear from you about your views and ideas for how this new team should work and we will make sure the Government knows what you have to say.
If you’re a young person between the ages of 12 – 21 years, we’d like to invite you to join one of our focus groups!
By participating you will have the opportunity to have a say about what the new Commission for Children and Young People should be like. You will also receive a certificate from the Interim Commissioner for Children and Young People recognising your contribution and a $40 gift voucher at the end of the focus group as a thank you for participating.
Hobart: 18 November, 4:30pm – 6pm, Commissioner for Children and Young People Office 119 Macquarie Street
Launceston: 20 November, 4:30pm – 6pm, Launceston Library
Online: 19 November, 4:30pm – 6pm, via Zoom
Thank you to everyone who has expressed interest in attending a focus group. We look forward to meeting with you all soon.
