YEP! is for young Tasmanians under 18 who want to discover ways to engage with CCYP and other organisations to have their voice heard on things that matter to them.
Competitions, surveys, opportunities to participate in fun events and focus groups, interesting activities - YEP! has it all.

You have rights no matter who you are, where you live, what language you speak, what your religion is, what you think, what you look like, what gender you identify as, if you have a disability, if you are rich or poor, and no matter who your parents or families are or what they believe or do. You should not be treated unfairly for any reason.

The West Tamar Youth Art Showcase is for young people aged 10 through to 25 years old, living in the West Tamar Council municipality who are interested in revealing their artistic talents through photography, drawing and painting. The contest is designed to encourage competitors to explore and share their stories through the chosen theme of belonging.

You have the right to share what you learn, think and feel, by talking, drawing, writing, or in any other way, as long as you respect others and don’t hurt anyone.

You have the right to get information from the internet, radio, television, newspapers, books and other places. Adults should make sure the information you are getting is not harmful. Governments should encourage the media to share information from lots of different places in languages that all children can understand.

D’FAT exists to empower young people (aged 12-25) to have a say on issues that affect them and their communities, as well as develop projects and activities for young people.
