Wellbeing The Commissioner advocates for and monitors the wellbeing of all children and young people in Tasmania. Being a priority focus, a range of publications, including recommendations, are produced in this area.
Youth Justice The Commissioner advocates for policies that divert young Tasmanians from harmful behaviour, and which keep them and the community safe without a criminal justice response. She also advocates for young Tasmanians in detention.
Engagement The Commissioner engages with children and young people across Tasmania to find out what is important to them and how their lives are going.
