Somebody in your corner

On 21 December 2023, the Acting Commissioner published Somebody in your corner: The views of children, young people, carers and care providers on children and young people being stable and safe in out-of-home care on behalf of Commissioner McLean. 

This report presents the diverse views and experiences of children, young people, carers and care providers in relation to out-of-home care, complementing previously released resources (linked below). 

Commissioner McLean acknowledges the participation of the many children, young people, carers and care providers who shared their views and experiences of the out-of-home care system.
