This document introduces and outlines a child rights-based approach to monitoring and evaluating the wellbeing of children and young people in Tasmania. This new approach places the rights, experiences, and voices of children at the centre of how the Commissioner for Children and Young People assesses the impact of the systems that affect their lives.
